Margaret Ann Muldoon

Margaret Ann Muldoon, also known as Ann, peacefully passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 97 in Wall, New Jersey. She was born on March 19, 1926, in Belpre, Ohio, to her loving mother, Verna McGrew Wright. Ann was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ann had a remarkable career as a retired American Airline stewardess and later worked as a real estate agent for the Bustard Agency in Tenafly, New Jersey. She was known for her dedication and professionalism in both roles. Outside of her career, Ann had a passion for various hobbies. She was a long-time member of the Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, where she enjoyed playing competitive golf. Ann was also a life-long member of the Junior League and a master bridge player, often participating in events along the East Coast. Ann's educational journey began at Parkersburg High School and continued at Stevens College in St. Louis, Missouri, where she furthered her knowledge and skills. Ann will be deeply missed by her daughter, Debbie Muldoon Ruckert, and son-in-law Bill Ruckert of Brielle, New Jersey. She is also survived by her grandsons Billy, Conor, Brendan, and his wife Nicole, and their children Tommy and Charlie. Additionally, her son Timothy J. Muldoon of San Francisco, California, and grandchildren Danielle and Christopher will forever cherish her memory. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas J. Muldoon, who was a constant source of love and support throughout her life. A viewing will be held at Barrett Leber Funeral Home in Tenafly, New Jersey, on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service in celebration of Ann's life will take place on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church in Tenafly, followed by internment at Brookside Cemetery in Englewood, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Tunnel to Towers or The Samaritan Center of the Jersey Shore, two organizations that were close to Ann's heart. Ann will be remembered as a loving and devoted individual who touched the lives of many. Her warm presence and kind-hearted nature will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
