Vinci, Matthew C. age 88 a longtime resident of Englewood Cliffs and formerly born and raised in Jersey City died Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee) Fenlon. Devoted father of Paul Vinci and his husband Keith Lissner, and Matthew Vinci and his late wife Francine. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Lauren, and Michael. Dear uncle of Paul, Patricia, John, Patty and Gina. Matthew was also predeceased by his loving sister Marie and is survived by his sister-in-law Yvonne and his brother-in-law Joseph Cristantiello. Matthew was a pioneering Insurance agent for State Farm in Jersey City, laying the foundation for the company’s success in the greater New Jersey area. He was a longtime parishioner of Mt. Carmel in Tenafly. He also served in the US Army. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday 4-8PM at Barrett Funeral Home, 148 Dean Dr., Tenafly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM at Mount Carmel Church, Tenafly. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
