Roland Stoever Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

STOEVER, Roland of Sea Bright, passed away, unexpectedly, on November 30, 2021. The family is heartbroken to announce his passing at 50 years old. He was preceded in death by his father and business partner Fredrick Stoever. He is survived by his cherished wife Jennifer Stoever. He adored his children Helena Stoever, Avery Stoever, Preston Stoever and Piper Stoever. The devoted only child to Renate Stoever. He will be missed by his Aunt Doris Lukchis, his Uncle and business partner Russell Stoever (Barbera Stoever) and many dear cousins. Roland was born on August 19, 1971 at New York Hospital. Roland grew up spending much of his time at Knickerbocker Country Club where he was an avid swimmer. He and his father, Fred, were also fixtures at the Downtown Athletic Club (later New York Athletic Club). He attended the Elizabeth Morrow School for elementary school and, later the Dwight Englewood for high school. Roland attended college at Franklin & Marshall University and proceeded to graduate from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Upon graduation, he entered the family business and began working at Stoever Glass & Co. Throughout the years, he has been instrumental in its growth and restructuring into Wealth Management as well as expansion of its operations to Boca Raton, Florida. Roland was a brilliant man with a young heart and a drive to make others smile, no matter how bad the joke. Roland never met a stranger and taught his children to stay positive, live life to its fullest and to have fun! His many hobbies included golfing at Trump National or Knickerbocker Country Club, Skiing at Windham, and tending to his Powderhound Vineyard. Roland was an avid swimmer who found peace in the morning sunrises at his favorite beach where he spent countless hours with his children surfing & swimming. Our family is heartbroken to announce his passing, and ask for your prayers of comfort and peace as the Holidays approach. Visitation at the Barrett Leber Funeral Home, 148 Dean Dr., Tenafly, on Sunday, December 5th, from 1 PM to 5 PM. Funeral Mass at Mt. Carmel RC Church, Tenafly, Monday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
