On Thursday, November 26, Stan Sherman passed away at the age of 73. He was a devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Stan was born on March 11, 1947 and grew up in the Bronx, NY. He worked for over 35 years on Wall Street as a Eurodollar Broker. After retiring from Wall Street, Stan enjoyed working as an extra on several movies and TV shows. Stan lived for over 40 years in Tenafly, NJ. He was a die-hard New York Yankees fan, avid golfer, and connoisseur of useless trivia and facts. Stan, or “Uncle Tan” to his nieces and nephews, had a wicked sense of humor, a big heart, and a wonderful smile that came out anytime he discussed his family. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Mark. Stan is survived by his wife Denise, his youngest son Peter and daughter-in-law Paula, his daughter-in-law Wendy, his sister April, and his grandchildren Michael, Marissa, and Madeline. A virtual memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 6th.In lieu of flowers, donations in Stan's name may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society (braintumor.org) are greatly appreciated by his family.
