Timothy Scott Garrison

Timothy Scott Garrison, age 55, of Closter, NJ, born and raised in Ridgefield, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Tim was the beloved husband of Pamela (nee Pomerantz) and the devoted father of Jeffrey Garrison and his wife Eva, Alexander Garrison, Zachary Garrison, and Luke Garrison. He was also the cherished grandfather of Caden. Tim was a loving son to Grace and Roger Garrison and the adoring brother of Kimberly and her husband Bryan Madrid. He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews: Amanda, Casey, Christian, and Jessica, along with countless other family and friends. A Master Plumber by trade, Tim spent 25 years as a Manager at Bogush Plumbing, where his dedication to his work earned the respect of all who knew him. Beyond his professional achievements, Tim's true passions lay in sports and his love for his family. As a lifelong sports fan, he lived and breathed the highs and lows of the New York Yankees, New York Giants, and New Jersey Devils, always with unwavering enthusiasm. He was also a dedicated member of the West Hackensack Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where his kindness and faith were always evident. Tim had an incredible sense of humor—quick-witted, sharp, and able to make anyone laugh even on the most challenging days. His lightheartedness and generosity of spirit were infectious, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered not just for his humor and big heart, but for his strength, resilience, and the warmth he brought to every room. His presence will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and all who had the joy of sharing in his life. In his passing, Tim leaves behind not only a legacy of laughter and love but also the reminder to embrace life fully, cherish those around us, and find joy in every moment—even in the smallest of things. Visitation is to be held on Friday 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Barrett Leber Funeral Home, 148 Dean Dr., Tenafly, NJ. A Funeral Talk will be held Friday January 31st at 5:00 PM at the Ridgefield Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 634 Abbott Ave Ridgefield, NJ 07657. A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 1st at 10:00 AM at Barrett Leber Funeral home. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories cemetery.
