It will be published shortly after it is approved.Steve, Just a final note to recognize the efficiency of your coordination and the great work of your staff. You recognize and successfully manage the fragile dynamic of a family in grief, and at every turn had a solution that consistently took the burden off us. Phil's work cannot go without mention. His skill and obvious attention to detail not only moved us from a closed to open viewing, but left many who had expected a closed viewing with a nicer and more peaceful memory of Viola. Your son as well as the rest of the staff were at all times extremely courteous and professional. For all these reasons, I personally want to extend a heartfelt thanks to you and the staff for the dignified and respectful process you executed without flaw. I would not hesitate to recommend your services. Thanks again.

Barrett Funeral Home came recommended to me initially, although I can't remember by whom. My sisters death was both tragic and unexpected. The entire experience was kind of a blur. What I do remember though, was how our funeral directors worked with us, guiding us through this painful process, and most importantly how gentle they were with my dad, who took this loss particularly hard. That was 2012. In 2015, my mom passed away after a long battle with hypertension, and kidney failure. Once again, we called Barrett. I believe Steve was our funeral director. At that time my dad was suffering from the effects of Dementia and Parkinson's Disease. All decisions would be left up to my wife & I. Steve was great both professional and kind, taking us step by step from beginning to conclusion. This past February 2018, my dad passed away two days short of his 89th birthday. And again, we called Barrett. This was getting to be a trend by now. Our funeral director would be Phil Vessa. In conversation, we found common ground in the fact that we had a similar work history and background. We connected right away. From that point on, I felt as if I was getting advice from a trusted friend. Again, I had someone in my corner to help with any concern, from beginning to end. In every experience I've had with Barrett, they've always been professional, courteous and helpful. That's expected, but more than that its the way they put you at ease. It starts with Chelsea. She's been my first point and contact. Speaking with her on the phone (and in person), you feel reassured, that everything will be alright, that they are going to be there for you, you don't need to worry. Having that piece of mind is invaluable, especially in difficult times. I just wanted to say thank you.
